Products I Love But Never Talk About

Upon seeing On a Beauty Bender do a blog post on the products she loves but never talks about, I was inspired to write my own. It’s such a great idea, and really got me thinking about how many products I use and which ones are my holy grails.

I use a lot of beauty products throughout the week, but I’ve never realised how many of them I don’t talk about. I sometimes feel that I get caught up talking about the latest and greatest products, and forget to mention my go-to favourites. So, I’ve decided to share some of my holy grails and constant favourites. Basically, these are the products that I’ve always loved and will continue to go back to every time.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
I haven’t spoken about my love for this concealer for a long time. But trust me when I say it’s one of my all time holy grails. Not only is the formula hydrating and full-coverage, but it isn’t super thick, meaning that it’s not going to crease. I also love that it caters for my skin tone, because normally with concealers I end up with one that is too light or too dark. But most of the time this one matches my foundation shade, meaning a flawless finish for me.

ColourPop Double Entendre
I’ve shared my constant love for ColourPop on my Instagram feed, but I don’t feel like I’ve spoken about this particular palette in a while. Double Entendre was one of the first palettes I owned, and I’m glad that it was. I loved it from the first use, and I continue to love it today. The warm-toned and neutral shades are absolute perfection and the shadow formulas are incredible. Not only are they all incredibly pigmented, but they are also easy to blend. I just can’t get enough of this one.

Sephora Collection Lip Stories in Oui
This lipstick right here is my absolute go-to favourite nude shade. It’s a mix of like a warm brown and pink and looks beautiful with every eyeshadow look and clothing item.
This particular lip stories shade has a creamy formula, that lasts on my lips. I reach for it when I go to work as it lasts on my lips and keeps them hydrated. I’ve almost used the entire bullet up… which is a complete shock.

Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

This is one of my OG beauty products. This is a true lip gloss, with a sticky formula and a mint flavoured taste. When I think of lip gloss this is the product I immediately think of.
I’ve been using their lip glosses for over 7 years and I constantly go back for more. I’ve always been a big lip gloss girl and I think that’s why I gravitate towards them.

Lumi Minx*
These are LED lights that can be adjusted to allow for a more flawless makeup application. They are perfect for when there’s dodgy lighting in your room, or to travel with. These have been my go-to to use when I’m plucking my eyebrows. With my horrible vision and not being able to see all of the fine hairs, these have been an absolute life saver.

Sigma Brushes
I feel like I more commonly talk about my love for Real Techniques brushes, than my love for Sigma ones. I’ve had Sigma brushes in my collection for a year or more now, and I’ve loved every single one that I’ve tried. I only own a few, but they’re perfect for foundation, eyeshadow and highlighter application. They are super high quality and even though I’ve washed them a lot, they come up looking brand new every time. Not to mention that they are so aesthetically pleasing with their black handles.
The F35 brush is my all time favourite, as it’s the perfect highlighting brush. It just disperses the product softly and evenly providing a smooth finish.

RoseHip Plus Nourishing Hydrating Night Cream*
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’d know that I don’t talk about skincare that much. It’s not that I don’t like it or use it, but I much prefer talking about beauty products.
This RoseHip Night Cream was a product I received and to be honest never thought would work for my sensitive skin. But I was proven very wrong after trying it. My skin cleared up and became a lot more vibrant almost instantly.
This night cream is 100% natural and feels amazing on the skin. Not only is it incredibly hydrating, but its also been a lifesaver in winter. I’ve just recently bought a new bottle, because I love it that much.

Swisse Cranberry Pore Perfecting Clay Mask*
I’ve been using this mask for months and it has occurred to me that I have not mentioned it on my channels once. These days there’s so many pore perfecting clay masks on the market, but this one is one of my favourites. The fragrance is absolutely divine and the formula is so good. Upon application it stings a little bit, but after removing it my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. It’s almost like having brand new skin.

Laneige Lip Mask
One of my close friends bought this for me for my birthday in April and I’ve only just started using it in the last few weeks. To be honest I was always super skeptical about it, but after trying it for myself my mind has been changed. The watermelon flavour tastes like lollies and feels amazing on the lips. It takes my lips from feeling dry and chapped, to hydrated and nourished overnight. I’m very thankful for it over winter.

What are some of the products that you love but never talk about? I’d love to hear which ones they are.
