Glamourflage – HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Range*

While Glamourflage’s skincare products are no stranger to my skincare routine, their new range of HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating products most certainly are. Developed with a dual focus on ensuring healthy and radiant skin, this series of products contains probiotics and 5x brightening ingredients, to leave your skin looking and feeling healthy.

Whilst you may be familiar with Glamourflage, you may not be as familiar with HOLA. HOLA, is a branch of the Glamourflage brand, was created with the concept of using time-proven traditional recipes to produce natural and healthy looking skin.

“The most simple and effective ingredients, brings you the most natural and healthy skin care”

Featuring a dual-focused skincare target, HOLA’s Milk Probiotic Illuminating range is ideal for those needing a healthy and radiant skin boost. Each of these focuses have been designed with the utilisation of specific ingredients to ensure that the mentioned benefits are able to be effectively delivered to your skin. These ingredients have been listed below:

Focus One: Healthy Skin

  • Probiotics to relieve dry, tight and bothered skin
  • Utilises Prebiotics to balance skin PH levels and boost healthy bacteria
  • Postbiotics to feed healthy bacteria and protect against UV-induced skin damage
  • Lactoferrin (milk iron) is used as an antioxidant to fight free radicals and regenerate the skin

Focus Two: Radiant Skin

  • Nonfat Milk Extract to condition and brighten skin
  • Tangerine Peel to brighten dull and uneven skin tones
  • Vitamin C to lighten dark spots
  • Niacinamide to lighten skin
  • Glutathione to fight pigmentation

For reference, I have combination skin, however it tends to lean more towards the drier side. One of my main skin concerns is that my skin generally looks quite dull and pigmented, so I’m always looking for products that can work on reducing pigmentation, while brightening, illuminating and hydrating my skin.

HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Cleanser

The HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Cleanser, has been designed with a cleansing system that works to clear away impurities, while also ensuring the skin remains protected and strengthened. Using an ingredient combination of Amino Acids, Niacinamide and Probiotics the formula works to gently cleanse away impurities, and promote cleaner and clearer skin.

Retailing at $25 AUD for 120g of product, I feel that this product is affordable. Is it the most affordable, no. But when compared to other brands in the market, it is definitely affordable for how long it lasts.

Out of my entire skincare routine, cleansing has always been my favourite. It’s just the feeling of being able to gently cleanse away the day from my skin and leave it feeling refreshed and brand new that I love. Which is probably why I also love this illuminating cleanser. Not only does it leave my skin feeling softer after use, but also visibly enhances the appearance and leaves me with healthier and more radiant looking skin. It really does do exactly what it claims.

HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Essence

The HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Essence, was designed to feature a nourishing essence formula, that works to not only balance the skins microbiome, but also simultaneously brighten, revitalise and leave skin looking illuminated.

Retailing at $42 AUD for 38ml of product, I’d be inclined to say that this product seems expensive. However, after doing a search online for similar products, it seems that this is the average price range.

Having previously read a lot about essence, it was a product that I was very keen to try out. To me, essence is a skincare product that’s added into your routine when you’re wanting a little bit of extra luxury, and not something I would generally gravitate towards for everyday use 365 days a year. But in saying that, that’s just my personal opinion, and doesn’t mean that you share the same one, so make sure you go with whatever works for you.

To correctly apply the essence, an adequate amount should be massaged on to the face and neck until it is fully absorbed. It is recommended to use after a toner, however as I don’t use or have one in my collection, this recommendation hasn’t been able to be followed.

HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Face Cream

The HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Face Cream, features a soft and light cream formula, which works to smooth and soften skin, while also ensuring hydration levels are maintained. Containing a blend of brightening ingredients to improve facial skin glow – Probiotic Properties, Citrus Extract and Niacinamide – and also includes pre, pro and postbiotics to provide extra nourishment for healthy skin.

Retailing at $38 AUD for 50mL of product, this face cream definitely airs on the more expensive side. When comparing against other brands this cream is in the mid-range of pricing, and ultimately comes down to personal preference of what you’re willing to pay for a face cream. But personally, if a product works I’m more than happy to pay the price.

When using the HOLA Face Cream in your skincare routine, it’s recommended to use the product after applying essence. This allows for a higher level of absorption, which in turn should lead to a brighter and healthier looking complexion.

Overall, HOLA Milk Probiotic Illuminating Range from Glamourflage was a win for me. Out of the three products tried, the cleanser was certainly my favourite, but I did also enjoy giving the essence a try and adding that into my routine as a change. But will I be repurchasing them? Maybe, the cleanser, but I’m still not too sure about the other products.

Have you tried the HOLA Glamourflage products? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them too!
